This painting is inspired by Boticelli's Madonnas and Bouguereau's sensual, realistic figures. I gave mary a smile on her face because almost all the traditional mother and child portaits are so serious.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
